Family Ministry
Grace is a family ministry – we believe that faith is a family matter. Rather than segregating people by age or gender, we encourage children to learn with their parents, and parents to be with their children. You can check out a listing of our ministries here.
Thinking About Families in Our Presentation
One of the most common reasons for staying away from Sunday worship is that children are bored or unengaged. Sadly, this is true in many churches. At Grace, we are conscious of this and take steps to engage your children. These steps include
- Using an easy to understand translation of the Bible (the New International Version)
- Crafting the teaching of the Scriptures to be comprehensible and engaging for listeners of all ages
- Offering an alternate, child-appropriate worship experience for grades K4-4th.
- Staffing quality child care for children ages 0-3 if parents choose not to keep them in the service.
Thinking About Families in our approach to Ministry
When you arrive at one of our worship gatherings, you will find that your children are welcome to remain in the main service with you or head downstairs to be a part of the children’s alternative service.
Want your child to be a part of the larger worship gathering? We offer a simple tutorial workshop on strategies for helping your child be engaged and less disruptive while in the service.
If your children want to go to our children’s ministry, you are welcome to accompany them and sit with them during the program for your peace of mind.
Thinking of Families in Our Building Design
Have an infant? We are currently planning to build add a sound proof cry room and run an audio feed to it, so you can still be a part of our worship gathering.
We are constantly thinking of better ways to let your entire family engage in the worship gathering.
